One-day trip to Big Almaty Lake and Falconry Farm

Meeting with guide in Almaty and transfer to excursion at the Big Almaty Lake (about 30 km from Almaty, 1 hour) Big Almaty Lake is located 28.5 km south of Almaty, in the alpine gorge of the Big Almaty River, at an altitude of 2,511 meters above sea level. This is one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in Kazakhstan. The sparkling turquoise-green surface of the lake, surrounded by majestic mountains and the slender Tien Shan firs descending to the lake, inspires and takes your breath away.

Transfer to Falconry farm “Sunkar”. You will participate in a show, during which viewers will receive a lot of information about the history of falconry, biological features and lifestyle of birds of prey.

After the show, we return to the city. (The show is available from March to November) Take with you on a trip to Big Almaty Lake: food, water or drinks, a hat, sunglasses, cream, a camera, an identity card. Sportswear, comfortable shoes.
