Two-days trip to Altyn Emel National Park

Meeting with a guide in Almaty and transfer to Altyn Emel National Park (about 290 km, 4 hours)

On the way visit Charyn canyon. Charyn Canyon is a unique natural monument, which is located on the territory of the Charyn National Park. Charyn Canyon stretches for 154 km along the Charyn River. It is composed of sedimentary rocks, whose age is about 12 million years. Height reaches from 150 to 300 meters. He is often compared to the Grand Canyon in Colorado, and is even called his "little brother." Charyn Canyon is very popular among tourists, every year a huge number of people visit it. Here you can not only relax and go on an excursion, but also engage in active sports.

Lunch at the guesthouse at Basshi village. After lunch we are going to see wonderful picture of the nature – Signing Barchan Dune which is 1.5 km long and 120 m high (about 265 km from Charyn National Park). While the wind is blowing from the West dispersing the sands, one has a feeling that the pipe organ is playing in the heart of the desert.

Return to guesthouse. Dinner and overnight. Meals: lunch, dinner

Transfer to excursion at Aktau-Katytau (80km from Basshi). We will drive to see red and white colored mountains called Aktau-Katytau mountains. These mountains are famous for its unique appearance, which was probably created by small volcanoes, erupted and immediately cooled down several thousand years ago.
